As an Academy, we receive and decide in-year applications. For any family looking for places after the normal application round, an in-year admission is when a child needs an immediate school place during the school year. There are two main reasons for this. You might be moving house or unhappy with your child’s current school. For more information, see Applying for a school place in-year below. Alternatively, contact us directly to obtain information about places available.

We have created an In-Year Booklet, which will provide families of children moving into Thornden School with as much information as possible.  Please read through it carefully with your child.

Once an offer for a place has been made and accepted, please complete the online Intake Form. If you are unable to access the form online, please contact the Admissions Officer on admissions@thornden.hants.sch.uk.
